Your recently conquered provinces which are not Orthodox do not have this tolerance. So assuming you got 12 war exhaustion your home regions should only have 2 unrest. Great thing about Orthodoxy is by giving the church more 'power' through events (They usually have a negative modifier along with giving them power such as loss of Prestige) In your home regions your religion will be Orthodox which has 4 Tolerance of the True Faith.Įach Tolerance reduces unrest so you're even less likely to get rebels. That's enough to halt all of or half of your war exhaustion alone.
So with 3 Stability every region gets minus 6 unrest. How the unrest system works is each level of Stability gives a minus 2. However rebels may still occur from war exhaustion and most importantly Religion.īeing russia taking land from the steppes they have a culture which doesn't belong to you which gives you a slight loss in income from the province but more importantly it adds 2 unrest. When you first take a province the province will have around 10 years of nationalism, which raises the unrest in the province by I think 5 points, or maybe 10. As a bigger country further in the game if you have over 100% extension it's not surprising to see rebels popping up with 100k soldiers, and that usually happens in multiple provinces at once, with new rebels revolting each month.Īnd just because you have a province cored doesn't mean you won't have uprisings of nationalists. Especially as a new player you don't know about overextension, and how bad it can mess you up. I'm assuming a lot of the land you lost was land you recently took, so you weren't done coring it, so it was giving you overextension. When you click on a province on the left side it should have an income box, it has tax on top, then production below that, and then the total together. I solved most of the rebellions, with War Exauhstion, but I still get Golden Horde & Permian Nationalists! WTF! I have all of them cored.
